Shawn grew up in Hawaii and began his journey following Jesus while a freshman at the University of Hawaii where he played for the Warriors. Along the journey of pursuing his dream of a career in football, Shawn discovered a greater dream: the dream God had for him as a husband, father, pastor and leader. Today, Shawn's true passion is to connect people to God and equip them to change their world. Though Shawn was gone from Hawaii for almost ten years Hawaii never left Shawn's heart, so he is thrilled to be here spending his days helping others discover God’s true dream for them as they change the world together. In his free time--when he has it--you can find Shawn surfing with his boys, checking on his fantasy teams, or talking story with whomever’s he’s hanging with at the moment.
