Outreach is Who We Are, Not What We Do •
Since the fires in Lahaina last year, Adult & Teen Challenge of Maui has been one of our major partners in assisting with relief efforts. They have played a strategic role within the community by feeding the homeless and helping to build housing for those displaced by the fires, while continuing to give hope and help people who are struggling with substance abuse and addiction. The organization has been directly affected financially due to the economic impact the fires had on Lahaina and the entire Maui community. While they have been extremely generous, Teen Challenge has struggled to maintain their efforts due to aging equipment, specifically the van they use to transport the team from one outreach to the next.
And that’s where YOU come in…
While serving on one of our recent missions trips, God gave us a great idea: Thanks to your generosity in our Reach Out Celebration, we were able to initiate the process of purchasing a new vehicle by presenting them with a check for $5,000 from Manna Church which also inspired a MATCHING CHECK from Anchor Church in Kaneohe. Since that time, multiple churches and other partners have also been inspired to step up by giving gifts, and by God’s grace, Teen Challenge has found the vehicle, signed the paperwork for purchase, and this Easter, they got to pick up a brand new van, allowing them and us to continue to serve the Island of Maui. This truly is an EASTER MIRACLE. Way to go, Manna Church!

Outreach is the heartbeat of the Church. What a gift for us to get to love the world by serving our community in a variety of ways.
Just this past month, we have sent teams to Maui to help with fire relief by building Hui Homes & feeding local firefighters. We’ve also had teams of people gathering around our island for other outreach opportunities, from Beach Clean Ups to Feeding the Homeless & Prayer in Kapolei to Pu'u O Kapolei Community Workdays to serving at the Onelauena Transitional Shelter through the Greater Hope Boutique and Onelauena Garden to Table.

This month, we’re spending time learning how hope in Jesus can keep you going when the going gets tough.
And our hope in Jesus isn’t just for us. God's plan is for us, as people of His Church, to spread the hope of Jesus to hurting people who need it.
Parents, continue the learning at home with this corresponding devotional from the Bible App!
Nursery & Preschool
We know our little ones love a party, so our preschoolers are spending the WHOLE month celebrating Easter!
They will continue to focus on the Easter story, celebrating each week that Jesus rose from the dead for them.

If you haven’t been through our Growth Track, these particular small groups are a perfect place to start, no matter where you are on your journey.
The Manna Church Growth Track is a series of small groups designed to facilitate your growth as a healthy, effective follower of Jesus Christ. Wherever you are in your journey, the Growth Track can equip you to experience more fully your calling in God and your part in impacting your world.
