Big News in MannaKids!
Exciting things have been happening in MannaKids!
Last month, we launched a new Preschool environment to make space for all of your amazing keiki!
Our Elementary keiki planned, prepped, and participated in our very first MannaKids Blessing Bag outreach! All MannaKids Elementary Keiki helped bring in supplies, make blessing bags, create blessing cards, and pray over the bags. Many were able to also join on a Saturday morning to distribute to the homeless around Kapolei. Thank you to all the MannaKids and families who made this possible!
This month, we are launching a new curriculum in MannaKids Elementary from LifeKids! We are thrilled to embark on this journey along with most all of the other Manna Churches around the country. We’re excited about this for so many reasons, but here’s our TOP 3:
Points our kids right back to the Bible for e v e r y t h i n g. We believe the Bible is the handbook for life! We love that this curriculum has a HUGE focus on finding our answers in the Bible.
It’s more “Manna”. We love that what we’re teaching these elementary keiki lines up so well with what the adults are receiving!
It’s incredibly empowering to our leaders, resourcing them more effectively so they can keep their focus on connecting with the kids!

Our December Rally is coming up! Invite all of your friends! You won’t want to miss this rally, particularly because we’re having an ugly Christmas sweater contest AND giving away a pair of Apple Airpods!

MannaYouth SERVE Team Member the Spotlight
Jonah Llanas
Jonah was our very first youth worship team member! We asked Jonah to play bass for our May rally, and he said yes — even though he had never played bass before! Jonah has faithfully served on our youth worship team ever since. He has since then inspired many of our youth to join our worship team. Jonah has been such an amazing addition to our SERVE team and even won the MannaYouth SERVE award at our SERVE Team Celebration in November. Thank you, Jonah!

Updates from the Manna Dream Center Hawai`i
November was an amazing time of outreach as we celebrated Thanksgiving. Petey & Desiree, along with our team who serve at Onelau`ena, purchased, prepared and delivered 16 gift baskets with turkeys, special gifts and everything for a Thanksgiving meal for each of the staff at the Onelau` ena transitional shelter. All this happened in addition to our weekly Greater Hope Boutique led by Dawn Ching, Garden to table & Sidewalk chalk project led by Lorilynn Lopez, and weekly Weed Eaters yard crew led by Keoki Pu'u & Dustin James.
Our MannaKids Elementary team, led by Hannah & Shannon, reached out to feed the homeless in Kapolei giving out blankets & towels along with a meal and prayer.
We had a team working on Maui in partnership with River of Life Mission & Hui homes and a team from California to build a 3 room addition in Lahaina for a family whose house burnt to the ground. Our team prayed with Donna, who lost her mother in the fire at the assisted living home, and repaired her grandson Hezekia’s little drum set.
UPCOMING OUTREACHES
In December we will be serving our community with several outreaches. See the “Mark Your Calendars” section at the top of this page for links and dates for each of those.
We will also be participating in three Christmas parades this year: the Kapolei City Lights Christmas Parade, the Ewa Beach Community Christmas Parade, and the 27th Annual Waianae Coast Christmas Parade. Come join the celebration as we walk alongside our Manna Church Christmas Float and hand out Christmas invite cards and Otter Pops!

Growth Track is for all of us!
We want to see you grow in community and in faith with other believers. We believe that begins with Growth Track!
The Manna Church Growth Track is designed to facilitate your growth as a healthy, effective follower of Jesus Christ. Wherever you are in your journey, the Growth Track can equip you to more fully experience your calling in God and your part in impacting your world.
Growth Track is a series of small groups that each last 4 or 8 weeks:
• FirstStep (4 weeks): Manna's 3 Values and the 9 healthy habits for a vibrant relationship with God and for discipling others
• NextStep (4 weeks): the Manna mission to advance the kingdom of God
• LeaderStep (7 weeks): Manna's 12 operational principles + biblical keys to everyday leadership
*Must attend FirstStep before moving on to NextStep, then to LeaderStep.
A new cycle of Growth Track groups meets virtually or in-person, the first week of every month (Sundays or Wednesdays). Our next groups begin in December.
We are praying and preparing for a permanent building and office space for Manna Church.
