Outreach is the heartbeat of the Church •
October was an incredible month of outreach for all of our amazing teams. From Serve Saturday to our weekly outreaches, Maui Fire Relief Mission and our big all church Halloween Outreach on October 31, together we served our island communities shining the light and love of Jesus brighter than ever! In addition, we hosted a mission team from North Carolina who ministered to and prayed for hundreds of people across our islands. From Waikiki and Sunset Beach to the Waianae boat harbor, Big island and Lahaina, including 3 Teen Challenge chapel services, it was powerful and life changing.
SERVE MONTH
November is SERVE MONTH and we are taking outreach to the next level. We are providing everyone at Manna with weekly outreach opportunities to reach out and demonstrate that we are Blessed to be a Blessing. We will be serving others through this Thanksgiving season, hosting our Charity Golf Tournament on Friday the 22nd at Kapolei Golf Club and then celebrate together at the Kapolei Christmas Parade on November 30th. We plan to bless our community with thousands of treats and invitations to meet Jesus, the “Reason for the Season!”

MannaYouth
We had an amazing time at our MannaYouth Retreat! Check out some of the biggest takeaways, favorite memories, and next steps of some our youth:
"During the message, the speaker was praying and I felt God talking to me and I started to cry. My next step is that I have been doing devos on my own now." - Middle school girl
"My favorite memory is the games and getting a bigger connection with God." - Middle school boy
"My favorite part was being able to strengthen so many friendships with lots of people over competitions and free time to hang out. I also loved worship and praising God with so many good people around me. My biggest takeaway was trying to increase my prayer life and trying to hear God's voice more so I can obey Him." - High school girl
"During the session I heard God calling my name. I knew that if I listened and followed that voice, I would find Him again." - High school boy
God is doing incredible things in our youth and we're so excited for how He will continue to work and move throughout MannaYouth. Check out this recap video:

MannaKids
Aloha families! This month in MannaKids, we’re excited for our Blessing Bags Outreach on November 23rd! Over the past month, our Elementary keiki have been gathering and creating these bags with items they’ve donated to bless those in need. Join us as we distribute these Blessing Bags to our homeless community in Kapolei and share the joy of giving! We love partnering with you to teach our children that we are blessed to be a blessing!
We’re also thrilled to introduce our new Family Resource Wall! This new space, located right next to the MannaKids check-in in the lobby, is stocked with helpful books and resources for parents to browse through. Plus, we've created crafts and hands-on activities in our Keiki Korner to provide you with easy at-home fun where your kiddos can continue growing closer to Jesus during the week! Be sure to check it out and find inspiration for your family’s faith journey.

Let’s get to know our Small Groups Director:
Aloha and Mabuhay! I’m Patricia Cravalho, and I’m excited to share that I’ve recently accepted the role of Small Groups Director at Manna HI.
A bit about me: I’m a Filipino immigrant who lived between Manila and CA. I came to Hawaiʻi for a short mission trip, met my husband John, who is Native Hawaiian, and my short trip ended up becoming a permanent stay. The greatest joy of our lives is raising our keiki—Christian (24) and Makana (11)—and caring for our 3 energetic dogs!
I enjoy reading, eating good food, and the outdoors. Our 'ohana loves our Karate Dojo and Hula Halau, and we aloha ʻāina by helping mālama for a Native Hawaiian Heritage Site in our community. I genuinely love connecting with people and inspiring others to create a positive impact in society. John and I co-founded the Ililani Foundation, a non-profit which supports families dealing with cancer, and I also run a small business called Pawtricia’s Pack.
I’m passionate about helping others grow as disciples of Christ who can then disciple others. I’ve been walking with God for 25 years, serving His Church, making disciples, training leaders, and leading ministries as a pastor at one point in my life. After taking time off to recover from chronic illness and breast cancer, I’m excited for this new chapter.
I've enjoyed being part of the Manna 'Ohana for the past three years, participating in various serve teams and groups. I am thankful for the chance to work with all of you to honor Christ as we cultivate healthy rhythms of discipleship and leadership in our small groups. Mahalo!

Small Group Stories
Check out this testimony from a memeber of the Senior Moments Small Group:
“I just wanted to say what a blessing Senior Moments has been for me. Meeting with the group and attending church are the highlights of my week. I am usually an introvert but have found that I can open up to the group about things going on in my life and areas I need prayer for. I believe I have made lifetime friends within the group. We are like a family within the church family. I am so blessed to be a part of Senior Moments and look forward to every time we meet. Each time we meet I can feel God's presence and love with us. May God continue to bless our group individually and collectively.” - T.
